Our Club

The Independent Riders is a family oriented riding club for motorcycle enthusiasts.

We are open to all motorcycle enthusiasts regardless of age, gender or religion. (No Law Enforcement Accepted)

We are open to all two and three wheeled licensed vehicles regardless of engine size. (must be able to cruise at highway speed)

Independent Riders supports children’s charities and actively promotes events to raise funds for children.

And most of all, we are a neutral club and we respect all other clubs and their members as we expect in return.

Our Story

Independent Riders is a motorcycle riding club founded in 2012 located in the Niagara Region. We host bike nights weekly to which all are welcome to attend. We will be hosting other events as well as group rides around southern Ontario. All Proceeds from events go to local charity groups.

After considerable time as a member of BRO  Niagara and Chairman of BRO Port Colbourne  Bullet founded the Independent Riders in 2012 and is still active today. Bullet has 55+ years of riding experience.

Al Kennedy

Vice President

Al was the president of the St Catharines Standard Social club 1985 - 1992. As a young kid, he always had an interest in motorcycles. Al got his bike license at 16 years old. He has been riding on his own until last year. Al joined this club to ride with friends.

Tom Langley-Smith

Tom is  a lifetime resident of the Niagara area and a family man who is retired from Ford Motor Company after 32 years and has been riding for 55 years. Tom and his wife Donna joined the club in 2018.

Treasurer

Murray was a Ordained Minister and a Evangelist in the past and has been riding 60+ years. Murray was also a member of a couple of Motorcycle Clubs through the years before joining Independent Riders in 2015.
